General
So where's your wine from?
All our wines are from Monowai Estate, a stunning 22ha vineyard located on the northern banks of the Ngaruroro River in the Crownthorpe district of the world-famous wine-making region of Hawke's Bay's, New Zealand.
The estate is home to Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Merlot, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc grapevines planted in free-draining red gravel with a thin top layer of silt loam, making them ideally suited to the local climate.
The grapevines are trained to increase fruit intensity and consistency. Hand-thinning ensures low yields and leaf plucking maximises sunlight and air movement through the vines. (Pretty fancy, huh?)
What kind of wine do you make?
Um, the best in the world? (*shrug*)
But seriously, wecurrently have a 2018 Sauvignon Blanc, 2017 Chardonnay, 2018 Pinot Noir, 2018 Pinot Gris and 2018 Rosé, with more varietals launching in the future. (But shhh! It’s a surprise.)

Winemaker: Emma Lowe
Emma graduated with a degree in winemaking from Adelaide University (Australia) and has made wines in Australia, Switzerland, South Africa, France, Chile and New Zealand. Her viticulture guru, partner in crime wine, and husband, Marcelo, has been extensively involved in winemaking in Chile and New Zealand. Together, they make one helluva’ team. (Just sayin’.)
Also: They have excellent taste in music and know how to pair cheese and wine like no one else.
WHAT SIZES DO YOUR WINES COME IN? DO THEY COME IN PACKS/MULTIPLES?
Here at Double By Single, we believe sharing is caring - and nothing says “I give a sh*t” like splitting a bottle of wine with mates. That’s why all our wines come in share-worthy 1.5L magnum bottles with four (4) bottles per case so that you can spread the DBS love a little further.
HOW MUCH DOES YOUR PRODUCT COST?
$35.00 per bottle (inc. GST) which means a case of four will set you back $140. (And that ain’t bad for 6 litres of damn fine Kiwi wine.)
Where can I buy your product?
Double By Single is sold exclusively online, but watch this space because we’ve got big plans for country-wide distributors in the future. (We’re talkin’ massive, exciting, better-than-frosé-on-a-hot-summer’s-day plans.)

I’M NEW TO DRINKING WINE. HOW DO I CHOOSE THE RIGHT ONE?
First off: Welcome to TeamVino! You are now 90% more interesting, charming and sophisticated. (The other 10% means you’re still a p*sshead; you just have better taste in booze.)
Selecting a wine is like picking out a block of Whittaker's or choosing your favourite karaoke tune - you really can't go wrong. However, if you're struggling to make a choice, drop us a line, and we can have a wee wine chat.
ARE YOUR PRODUCTS VEGAN-FRIENDLY?
Sure are! We can confidently say that no animals or hippies were harmed to make this awesome wine. (We pinky-swear.)
IS YOUR WINE MADE FROM SUSTAINABLE SOURCES?

Is your packaging eco-friendly?
If you recycle your boxes and bottles, you’re good as gold.
Any tips for where or how I should store my wine?
Preferably in a glass in your hand while you cheers your best mate.
But if you wanna be a stickler about it, we recommend you store your wine in a cool, dry area of the house - or best kept in the fridge, so it's ready to drink.
How long will my wine last?
As long as the good times roll. (*wink*)
What if i don't like the wine I purchased?
Pfft, that ain’t gonna happen. But if you seriously don’t dig our wine, gift it to your mates - they’ll think you’re a legend

Where do you ship to?
We ship New Zealand wide, bro!
(Psst! Australia, we’re coming for you next. Then, THE WORLD. *insert evil villain chuckle*)
How much is shipping
North Island: $12.00 per case
South Island: $15.95 per case
Rural Delivery: As above, plus $3.60 per case
How long will shipping take?
North Island dwellers are looking at 3-4 working days* for delivery and 5-7 working days* for our South Island homies.
(*Unless in a rural area, then standard rural delivery applies. #Soz)
Can I track my online order?
Do you think we'd be so irresponsible as to send your precious wine out into the big ol’ world without keeping tabs on it? Pfft, we’ve got you - and your order - covered, amigo.
All orders are trackable, and we will send you a tracking number so you can plan the welcome home party for your newest BFF well ahead of time. *throws confetti*
I don't live in New Zealand (*Sad Face*). Is there any way to get my hands on your wine?
Well, first off, let us offer you our deepest condolences – you’re truly missing out by not living in the coolest country on the planet.
But we understand that not everyone can call EnZed home so we can organise special deliveries for our wine-loving homies living overseas. Get in touch here, and we'll make a plan.
Do you do gift wrapping?
Our bottles - and the boxes they come in - are designed to shine in all their (nakey) glory. So, trust us when we say, you won’t need – or want - to wrap those suckers up.
Returns
What's your returns policy?
We are unable to accept returns or offer refunds for unwanted or change of mind orders. However, our customers' satisfaction is super important to us, so get in touch if you’re at all unhappy with your order.
What if my order arrives damaged?
If your goods arrive broken or damaged - or you believe they were damaged during delivery - please advise us within 48 hours of delivery so we can arrange an exchange or refund.

We sure do! (In fact, we love that kinda stuff.) We can also provide you with wine tasting notes and allllll the info you need to spread the DBS love to your customers.
What are your wholesale prices?
While we’re all about sharing here at Double By Single, we don’t just hand that info out willy-nilly, mate! Drop us a line here and let’s talk magnums. (The wine, not the ice cream.)

Unfortunately, not yet - but the future looks bright, friend. One step at a time…

Do you support safe drinking practices?
